EASTON IS HERE! This is definitley the most exciting, and awesome new thing in my life. He was born August 9, 2010 at 8:49 PM. He is just perfect. He is so tiny, and cuddly, and precious and I just want to squeeze him all over! I have to admit that when he came out I was slightly concerned with the major conehead he had, but I am happy to report that it has gone down and now he has a perfectly rounded, normal sized head. Here is the stud muffin on his first day of life.
I had the privelege to stay with Cassie, Scotty, and Easton the first couple of days that they were home from the hospital and it was just great. Easton and I bonded, so obviously I will be his favorite aunt forever. My position as an aunt was not official until Easton decided to squirt me while we were changing his diaper. Normally this would have completely grossed me out, but being an aunt has caused me to mature and realize that I have certain responsibilities, and being squirted on during a diaper change happens to be one of them. He is THE cutest baby ever! And if you don't agree, I'll kill you.

I never thought I could love someone so much so fast, but I fell hard for this guy. We enjoy taking naps together, and talking about our futures, and eating every 2 to 3 hours. We are perfect for each other. Easton is my main man, my squeeze, my boo, and I love love love him. I just got home from visiting him in Austin and I'm already planning the day I can go back to see him! He is my favorite.

Now onto some other not so exciting things. Summer is coming to an end and I start school in a week. Boo. School is silly and ruins my life. Anyways. I moved into my new home last Sunday and I love it! It is SO much nicer than the nasty Trails apartment that I lived in last year. My room is pretty small, but its livable and cozy. I'm still living with the same girls as last year and I still love them all to death. I got VERY lucky with these girls, I could have ended up with some psycho who likes to sacrifice chickens in her bedroom or something. But instead I have Megan, Kinsey, and Alyssa forming the SMAK household.

I'm in the process of looking for a job in College Station, and it is pretty tough. I'm used to looking for jobs in El Campo where everybody knows who I am, and where I pretty much already have the job before I go in for an interview. It is cut throat in College Station. For every job position I have applied for at least 75 other people also have applied. Obviously, I am the best candidate for every job out there, but these employers must be stupid and blind and can't see that. But whatever, I'm not bitter. If I don't find one soon, hopefully my sistercuzins will put in a good word for me at the Pita Palace.
So here's to babies, family, new homes, and job hunting. Hope everybody has a great first day of school. Make sure to pack your backpacks, pick out a cute outfit, and buy your teacher an apple!
-Stassy out!
Easton says Hi and to tell you that he misses his Aunt Stacey!
