So it's summer time. Sort of. Not really. Five days after my spring semester ended, I began my grueling and oh so dumb minimester. It's an entire semester's worth of course work jam packed into two fun filled weeks of quizzes, papers, tests, and discussions. Today I had two quizzes and an assignment due. Tomorrow, three quizzes and a paper. Joy. After my minimester ends next Sunday, because yes I do have things due on the weekends, I will get to relax for three days before my next summer class begins - speech. I hate public speaking with a passion. I get all nervous, and sweaty, and start to hyperventilate, which doesn't make sense when you think about it because I KNOW that people love listening to me speak. After speech, its yet another summer class in July. So yes, while we may now be in the summer months, I do not have much of a summer.
On a much, much happier note, I do have several fun things to look forward to that will make my summer school classes slightly more bearable. Next weekend is Whitley's bachelorette party! It's gunna get crazy. Then her wedding, babysitting Easton, the Backstreet Boys concert, trips to the river, Easton's birthday party, watching The OC, and I'm sure other things that I'm not remembering. So I guess really I shouldn't complaing because it still sounds like my summer will be fabulous.
A random thought - if you are bored with your life, watch The OC. It is so good. I wake up in the morning wondering what will happen next in Newport. Will Julie Cooper-Nichols start another scandal? Will Ryan and Marissa EVER get back together? Is Kirsten going to cheat on Sandy with Carter? Does Ryan's brother Trey really want to change? Will Summer and Seth last forever (I hope)? Will Lindsey ever come back from Chicago? What ever happened to Hailey? The list goes on and on. Just thinking about it makes me want to leave work, grab some pad thai, and watch another episode.
