Summer Lovin

Don't you just love those days that you don't have to put on any makeup, and you don't have any plans, and you can just lounge around the house and be lazy? I plan to make this an everyday thing this summer. I'm not exactly sure if that will be possible considering I have a job and will be taking summer school, but you better believe my weekends will consist of doing absolutely nothing! My summer started last Wednesday at 2:00 PM. My friends and I put together a pool party at 2818's pool. It was a huge success. We had a great turnout and I had my first experience buying charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. For any of you smokers out there, I also purchased my first lighter so hit me up if you need a light! But please stop smoking, you are killing yourself. Anyways, it was a lot of fun to hang out with friends and relax after a hard week of studying for finals.

I moved home Friday for the summer. I am glad to be home, but will miss my new home in good ol' CS. Cassie, Scotty, and Lex came to EC on Friday evening. It is always a lot of fun when we all get together. Especially planning and talking about when Easton will be born! Saturday was a pretty relaxing day. Kyle and his "friend" Morgan got to town and immediately went to work out. Way to make me feel horrible about myself guys. My mom, Cassie, Scotty and I went to see Iron Man 2. This was my second time to see it, but it was still pretty good. On Sunday our family came to celebrate mother's day and my Pepaw's birthday. So what if it was a week late? We celebrate on our own schedule! It was fun as usual seeing everybody, even though I always eat way too much and end up exhausted and feeling sick. But it was still a good time. Hopefully the rest of my summer will continue to be as fun as this weekend was, but probably not. I am in El Campo after all, its known for the Ricebirds not for fun.
